Today is the Traditional Feast of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. Ann Elizabeth is my Confirmation name, after St. Anne and St. Elizabeth of Hungary. I have always loved St. Elizabeth! A while back I ran across this beautiful poem to St. Elizabeth that you may have seen, but I thought I would post it anyways. You can read more about St. Elizabeth here.
O blest Elizabeth, in glory
Enthroned amid the heavenly throng,
Be gracious to accept the praises
We offer you in cheerful song.
