Dressing Up

Last night, while I was getting ready to leave for my monthly “Bunco” night out, the kids decided to dress up, and act out, the nativity. I was running late, and my flash card was almost full, so I was only able to get a couple pictures… I wanted to share them just the same.

The kids were very creative at finding things to use around the house. Above is “Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus.”

I just loved that they used Snuggles blanket and a yellow stacking ring for the veil and halo! Isn’t that cute!

I missed getting a picture of the shepherd and the angel… They were really sweet as well!

OH, and Bunco was a BLAST! I even won a prize for the “Most Wins!!” That makes 3 months in a row that I have won a prize… even if one was for the “biggest loser.” 🙂

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
