Just Swingin’

My dear hubby surprised me last night, by hanging up our porch swing!! I was so excited!

I just love our swing! It is so inviting. I love sitting out there to read while the kids play in the yard… Hubby and I both love “escaping” to the swing in the evening for a little quite time… And, this time of year, the kids love listening to their read-a-louds on the swing! I’m so glad it is SPRING!!

The kids are loving it too, and they lost no time in grabbing a couple books for me to read to them today!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
