Well, I mentioned on Friday that Captain was carving his Saint-O-Lantern. Since then I haven’t had any time to post pictures. We have been very busy doing so many fun things, and I am tired!! So, real quick, here are a few pictures of his Saint-O-Lantern. I’ll be back soon with pictures from our All Saints’ Party. It was awesome!

Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

wow, did he do it all by himself?! looks great!

I did help him with some of the scraping… though he could have done it all on his own (like last year), we were just running out of time.
I figured I could help him out a bit since we didn’t have to worry about competition rules this year, since their wasn’t a competition… Nevertheless, the boys were determined to bring their pumpkins just the same to “show their friends.” 🙂
Where do you get those patterns? Do you just trace something or enlarge something or what?
(did I miss it in another post?)
The pumpkin looks great!
Very Inspiring!!! Looked AWESOME in person…
Blessings~

My personal favorite! He did a great job!
Jamie ~ Rascal usually prefers to find an image out of a coloring book, but Captain and I usually search the web for his image.
This year since he wanted to carve the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I did a image search in google and the image we used came up on the first page. You can see it here:

I enlarge it on the computer till it is the size we want it — and then print it out.
We then decide what can get cut out and needs to be left or scraped. It is lots of fun!
Their pumpkins were awesome! They all did a great job!
That’s gorgeous!
Beautiful!
