Kindness and Flowers

by | Mar 27, 2008 | Awards, Thank You | 11 comments

Kathy over at The Daily Grotto has kindly sent this award my way. Don’t you just love getting flowers?!?! Thank you Kathy!

One of the greatest things about blogging is making new friends!

This past year I have “met” some wonderful new “blog friends.” You have truly been a blessing in my life. I treasure these new friendships, and thank you all for the friendship, support, inspiration and ideas that you have shared with me!

I want to give this award right back to you Kathy, and also pass it on to:

Ruth at Just Another Day in Paradise
Elizabeth at Real Learning
Meredith at Sweetness and Light
Matilda at Waltzing Matilda
Cheryl at My Thoughtful Spot
Christine at Memories of a Catholic Wife and Mother
Christie at Tis’But a Season
Christy at The Happy Hunting Ground (currently a private blog)
Michele at Decrease to Increase
Jamie at Lord, Make me a Saint

As well as a couple of my real life friends that I have gotten to know so much better through blogging: Regina & Amy. You two are wonderful!

I could go on and on, but I had better stop there.

Anyhow, thank you TO ALL OF YOU that stop by and visit, often leaving comments that add an extra bit of joy to my day! Isn’t blogging great?!?

  1. Christy

  2. Elizabeth Foss

Thanks Jessica! I do love to visit with you and this blog is such a happy, inspiring, hopeful, authentically Catholic place that it’s a blessing to spend time here.

  3. Ruth

Thank you so much, Jessica. I’m so blessed to “know” you as well 🙂 You are so sweet and I hope to meet you in person some day.

    AWE….I love flowers! Thank you!!
I am so lucky that were my first blog friend. You have such a warmth about you that makes me wish I could sit down with you and chat all day! Your blog is such a blessing to all and an instrument of God’s gifts, thanks 😉

  5. Amy

Thank you Jessica, you are such a wonderful friend and I am glad God has blessed me with knowing you.

  6. Jamie Jo

Thank you Jessica! I did not expect to see that today! I feel the same way about you. I know if we lived in the same town, or even same state, we’d be outside of the computer friends! I really look forward to coming here every day.

MN Mom (Margaret) has a post today about blog friends, I know you’d like!

  7. Cheryl

Hey, thanks for the flowers. I discovered your blog when you linked to my Jesse Tree pieces and I’m so glad I did. I really enjoy reading it.

  8. Christine

Thank you, Jessica! You helped make my week extra special. May God bless you!

  9. Christie@tisbutaseason

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
