One of the things that I love about Digital Cameras, is how convenient it is to share photos! Even though my camera(s) were stolen, I still have a few pictures to share with you thanks to Christine and my Aunt Bridget! Thank you to both of you!!
This first picture was taken by
Christine. It is of (from left to right) Me,
Trina and
Christy! Trina and I have been friends since I was about 14. I was
devastated when she met her hubby and moved 11 hours away!! It was such a treat to be able to see her at the conference! Christy and Trina have been friends forever too. I have gotten to meet her online, but it was so nice to finally meet her in person. It is so funny how you picture people different when you haven’t actually met… I was picture a tall long haired blond for some reason? :0 I just love her short hair cut though — it is darling!!!
The next few pictures were taken by my Aunt. This one is of Snuggles playing, at my cousin Heathers home, with her little boy. Her 2 children were both born within weeks of my last 2 children! Actually her son, and Chiquita were due within days of each other, but I delivered early, and she delivered late! 🙂
(Snuggles has been loving playing with his socks lately.)
Saturday night my Aunt Roxanne and my cousins threw a surprise “Mexican Fiesta” birthday party for Heather, since she is turning 30 tomorrow! Heather & I are the oldest grandchildren on my dads side. She was born just 4 months after I was born!
Happy Birthday Heather!! I can’t believe we are THIRTY now!!
Don’t you just love what they made her wear! You should have seen my cousins Ryan and Luke with there pretend mustaches! It was hilarious! I just added a flower to my hair, and left it at that! 🙂 It was so fun! And I loved being able to see all of my Washington cousins!
Here is a picture of my Aunt Bridget and I. She traveled with me and helped with Snuggles during part of the conference, which was great. She also took care of getting my car window fixed so I wouldn’t need to miss my consultation with Laura Berquist! Thanks Auntie B!
I hope that I will have a chance soon to share a bit about the conference, specifically my conversation with Laura, but for now, I have lots to do and need to get off the computer!! 🙂
Have a great day!
Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
I really enjoyed seeing your “birthday” pictures.
Glad you had a good time!
You can’t believe you are 30!
I cannot believe I am 40!
Jessica,
I love these pictures. They speak loudly of a wonderful time.
Thanks for sharing.
God Bless,
Kathy
Looks like a good time! I love Roxanne!
Marked your birthday on my calendar!
Your auntie looks very young, is she even my age? (38)
Glad you got some pictures and glad you had such a great time!!!
My Aunt is young! She is the youngest in my dads family — my dad is the second of nine children — and so she was only 10 when I was born!
I had a great time with you and Snuggles!! Thanks for taking me. I’m so happy you got to spend time with your friends and family in Washington!! A.B. P.S. THANKS for the wonderful compliment Jamie!!
It was a great trip (minus cars being broken into and gang infested motels!)
Let’s do it again!!
Cute pictures!!!!
I didnt know you and Heather where the oldests, thats so cool (and so close in age 🙂
