Okay… So this post isn’t going to be totally wordless. 😉 I had a chance to get online real quick, and wanted to add that Captain got to serve (along with a whole bunch of other boys!) his very first Tridentine Mass on Sunday. He LOVED it!! I think that my hubby got a few pictures which I will try to share sometime soon…
Unfortunately, I missed seeing him serve, since I had to stay at the hotel with a sick baby. The flu has hit our family. At first I thought it was just the heat, but now I am sure that it is the flu. Let me just say, I have never experienced anything quite like this… Have you ever tried to travel across multiple states in a minivan while 3 children are extremely sick with the flu (both ends!), the baby is recovering–sort of–but his diapers don’t seem to work AT ALL, while sick with the flu yourself?!
At least it has provided many opportunities to grow in patience and practice various Works of Mercy, but at this point, I would appreciate any prayers you could send our way!
Thank you SO MUCH and God Bless!
Jessica,
I pray that you all feel well soon! Great photos! Now, I understand why your husband has three brothers who are priests.
what a great picture! They look so Holy! You are all so very blessed 🙂
I pray that you all feel better soon, so sorry you are going through such a struggle on your trip. Great attitude about learning about the works of mercy though 🙂 God Bless you!
Oh how totally sweet!! I love it, like father like sons :))
Our family is also recovering from only the bottom end of the flu.
My heart goes out to you.
I will pray for you today and that sweet baby.
Your son and husband look “heavenly”
Oh no Jessica!!
Us too. It is horrible!! I can’t even imagine trying to travel like that.
We will say prayers for you guys!!
How horrible! Several of us had influenza right after Christmas this year and it was the most horrible thing. I can’t even imagine doing it in a minivan crosscountry! Hoping you all feel well soon.
This is so beautiful!!!!!
What an incredible moment to capture.
God bless!
Poor, poor you! Ugh! That sounds terrible. I hope you’re all well now.
That will be a story to tell for years to come!
Are you home yet??? We miss you!!! 🙂
Thank you all so much for your prayers! They were all VERY MUCH appreciated! 🙂 God Bless!
