Last year I really enjoyed participating in April’s Shower of Photos. If you’d like, you can see last years pictures here. (My favorite was this one!) Jen has decided to host it once again and I am really looking forward to participating! Last year I didn’t choose a theme, and I can’t think of one this year either… Any suggestions??
My camera is a Canon Digital Rebel XTi
. I also have this additional lens
which I would like to learn how to use. I haven’t had much luck with it, but the other day I pulled it out at the zoo and actually took a few great pictures with it. Maybe I can actually find the time to look through the users manual this year and learn how to use it. 😉 I also have a Canon PowerShot A580, which is nice and small for when I am not able to carry around my Rebel.

Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
