~ Little League Pledge ~
I love my country
And will respect its laws
I will play fair
And strive to win
But win or lose
I will always do my best

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
I love your blog and your pictures! This one reminds me of my girls, who for a few years were in the same division of softball. My kids are ages 11, 10, 8, and 2.
So cute! Great photo, thanks for sharing.
Amen! We said the same pledge on Saturday too!
Lowden is playing little league too. He’s on the Dodgers. Don’t you just LOVE the cute uniforms.
The littlest ones really look adorable! My son also plays baseball. We look forward to our toddler getting into t-ball in 3 years. Maybe then I’ll be able to coach, which I’ve been itching to do all this time!
I had thought Saturday was also picture day, but it turns out that it isn’t until this next Saturday. I am not sure we will be able to make it, so I took a few pictures myself anyways. =)
Mimi ~ I just love the pledge, and the first year they played, I was so surprised, and pleased, to hear it.
Elizabeth ~ My husband is one of the assistant coach’s on our boys team and was the last time they played (a couple years ago) and he really enjoys it!
They look adorable!!!
