This morning Twinkle Toes asked if I would braid her hair for today. I am horrible at braiding, however, with practice, I am slowly improving!

Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

I can’t find a single thing wrong with those braids. And look at that straight part! I’ve always got way more hair on one side than the other.
I’m with Juli – those braids look perfect as can be to me. 😀
Thank you!! You can hide a lot in a photo 😉 The part wasn’t so straight towards the bottom, but in the photos taken from the side you can’t really tell.
Jessica, the braids look great! I always do my French braids with a side part so I don’t have to worry about it being straight. I think your part looks great.
I do that to my girls, too! Sometimes I tuck the last part of the braid under and finish it that way. Great job! I love braids 🙂
Holy cow, you did a good job! I have neither the patience nor the coordination to braid so beautifully. Nice work, Jessica!
Oh please come over and teach me how to do that! It’s beautiful!
I love french braids!!! I wish my girls would wear them every day!!
You did a wonderful job!
I am still trying with braids… but Branch’s hair isn’t quite long enough where I don’t have to work so hard at the bottom and accidentally pull all those tiny sensitive hairs! All I get is tears and squeals when I braid… grow grow grow hair!!!
You are 100 times better than I am at braiding. Good job!
YOu did a great job and she looks beautiful!
