Time to report my Weight on Wednesday once again… This past week wasn’t too bad! Last week I started following the food suggestions in Making the Cut by Jillian Michaels. I was able to keep my daily calories between 1200-1400, and never felt hungry. In just four days (Tues-Fri), I lost three pounds! However, with all my running around on Saturday and Sunday, and knowing that Lent was starting today, I didn’t count calories over the weekend. After eating too much of Rascal’s super yummy First Communion Cake, I got back to my diet on Monday, and even with yesterday being “Fat Tuesday” I still get to report a two pound loss for this week! Now, if only I could keep it up and get back to exercising. That’s what I’ll be working on this week… Well, that and getting over this cold.
My Summary:
- Week Seven Weight Loss/Gain: -2 pounds
- Inches Loss/Gain: -.5 inches
- Overall Results: -7.5 pounds and -7 inches

My husband and I recently started the paleo diet. We are so amazed at how great we feel I thought I would share!

Fun ~ Thanks for sharing about the paleo diet. I was just looking at the website. It sounds great!
Tracy ~ I figured someone would ask… I just didn't have time to expand on it last night. So far I just took her quiz to figure out what sort of "oxidizer" I am (slow, balanced, or fast) and have been eating the foods listed in her "grocery list" for the balanced oxidizer and keeping the calories to 1200-1400 each day. She has tons of recipes too and does give a menu to follow, but I just haven't had much time to try any of them. Basically I have cut out all refined sugar, and white flour, white rice etc.. Breakfast is usually 1 cup of Kashi GoLean with 1/2 cup milk (which I am really not suppose to have due to my intolerance, and trying to find out if soy works with her diet?) and 2 eggs with a bit of Mrs. Dash. Lunch has been LaTortilla Factory Wraps with spinach, turkey breast, a bit of Kraft Free Mayo and Dijon. Snacks for been half of apple with 1 TBS natural peanut butter, Light & Fit Dannon yogurt, or Ezekiel bread with Simply Fruit jam for example, and some of the "cheats" are the sugar free jello, diet hot cocoa, popcorn with I can't believe it's not butter(Which I can't believe I'm actually using!! 😉 ), there is much more on the list, and I am looking forward to trying some of her recipes.
