For lunch one day, while I was preparing some Toasties, the children made Veggie Pine Trees and Fruit and Cookie Palm Trees! They were both very easy, fairly healthy, and so much fun!!

The girls had fun dressing up in their St. Therese Costumes, playing with Rose’s St. Therese Dolls, and loved watching The Miracle of St. Therese

We also read about St. Therese in our Catholic Children’s Treasure Box books.

Those green bean pine trees are too cute!! Did you steam the beans first, or do your kids like them raw?
My children aren't very picky when it comes to veggies, and they ate them raw. Snap Peas also work great for making trees!

Where did the little felt St. Therese come from? It's adorable!
The St. Therese Doll was actually a gift from Kelly! (Thank you again Kelly!!) It looks like the shop is closed at the moment, but they can usually be found here on Etsy. Someday I would love to order a couple more saints for my other girls!
We are big fans of the T.T. Toffee too… my daughter occasionally makes it for my husband and he is generous and shares with the rest of us. I also love your bean/pretzel trees. We have done toast trees from Quick Cooking for Christmas Eve breakfast (toast triangles overlapped with green sugar, and sausage links for the trunk). I have noticed that the kids seem to love any kind of food that looks like something. 🙂
