Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
Our Family
A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

My 8 year old was happy to see that Rascal got one of her cards and we got one of his!
Hi Jessica,
Being a newer follower, could you re-explain the swap? the rules? is it open to more? how could we get started in our own homeschool group? etc…
When you have a moment, I'd truly appreciate it. I know plenty of kiddos who would love to do this.
THanks!
Karen ~ I will have to show Rascal your blog post!
Patty ~ This swap was organized and hosted by Kimberlee at Pondered in my Heart. You can read all about it here. Before this swap I had never even heard of an ATC card, but we had so much fun! For this swap Kimberlee had each person make 5 cards, mail them to her with a return envelope, and then her and her family sorted them for the exchange and mailed them back. Kimberlee said she is planning on organizing another in the Fall in honor of all the Saints, and I'm sure it will be open to everyone just like this one was. It wouldn't be hard to coordinate one for your homeschool group either. What a fun idea!

Ohhhhh, so beautiful. What lovely cards your children made … and received. Thanks so much for sharing that.
Yep, that there colorful Mary is mine. 🙂 I'm glad she found a good home.
And Twinkle Toes received my son's Virgin of Guadalupe … http://paperdali.blogspot.com/2010/05/marian-atc-swap-oldest-son-edition.html
Fun! ♥
Wow! You received some great ones! We had so much fun participating in the swap. We're also looking forward to the one in the fall. My boys are even wanting in on it now, lol. They saw the cards that the girls received and felt a little left out I think.
Thanks for sharing, Jessica.
God bless!
We had a great time too! This was such a fun experience!
@Kelly, all three of my boys participated and my oldest was kind of dissapointed that he only got one card from another boy. He also loved all of the cards, though 🙂
Thanks to you and all of your artists for participating! We all loved all your beautiful cards. It looks like Chiquita got one of Kateri's too (Lovely Lady dressed in pink, lol).
