Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

Oh those cheeks!!! Both girls looked adorable.
Our Rose will be Our Virgen de Guadalupe this year. I'm working on that costume later today…we have two Marys, a St. Lucy, and St. Nicholas this year.
Lots of fun!
I can't believe how big your little Rose has gotten!
This year we have a St. Elizabeth of Hungary, St. Margaret Mary and St. Therese! Oh, and a puppy and ladybug, too =)
Oh my goodness– adorable!!
Oh! How fantastic! I adore that costume! I wish I were that talented and creative.
So far this is the line up at our house:
DS 12- St. Louis
DD 11- St. Kateri
DS 9- St. Joseph de Cupertino
DS 8- St. Michael the Archangel
DD 6- St. Rose of Lima
DS 5- St. Edward
DD 3- St. Therese
Baby- we haven't come up with anything yet 🙂
Any suggestions?
Ooops!! make that Blessed Kateri 🙂
your costumes are absolutely gorgeous! i love the saint footage.
rose (the eldest) will be st. gianna molla with dragonfly as her baby.
sparkles – elizabeth of hungary
sweetie – st. clare (her namesake)
papi – ???
So incredibly sweet! +JMJ+
I'm speechless! She's too cute for words!
I want to climb into my screen and pinch Chaquita's cheeks!
She's so cute! Perhaps next year I'll have an occasion to make a costume for my little one.
I loved hearing who all of your children are going to dress up as this year! 🙂
Kelly – What about a Franciscan Saint for your littlest guy? It would be so easy to do with a big brown t-shirt and some fake fur made into a ring for his little head. St. Anthony and St. Francis have always been favorites for my baby boys – especially Snuggles who had blonde hair which made the "tonsure" look so cool!
Your daughter is so sweet.
Thanks for the St.Francis/St. Anthony idea. I think that is easy enough, even I could put that together in just a short bit. 🙂
Oh my goodness, what a doll! ( both of them!) I want one! Happy Hallow's Eve sweet friend!
