I can’t believe that it is already Wednesday? How was I ever able to find the time to blog almost daily??
Anyhow, I’ve had some of you asking to see pictures of the painted walls, so here you go! 🙂

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

Looking great!
Sorry to hear baout the marble delay…maybe someone will cancel and they'll slip you in sooner. Can you ask about that?
All things will feel so new now, enjoy!
Thanks Allison!
Yes, I did ask for her to call if there was *any way* to get us in sooner. She said she'd be sure to get us in if possible. I spoke with them a couple weeks ago and there was no wait at the time, but all of a sudden they have a ton of work. With how fast time seems to be going, I suppose 5 weeks will be here soon. 🙂
I love the color! Great choice. Sounds like it's coming together nicely. Bummer about the countertops 🙁
Very, very nice!
Jessica,
This is all coming together so nicely and I am so excited for you!

Great color. In a year you'll be glad you didn't pick a more "colorful" color. 😉
SO excited for you! Your family will enjoy your new space SO much! And I understand completely what you're going through, as we patiently await our house to be finished. Hopefully by mid-September. Every little step toward progress is so exciting, isn't it? Like now, the siding on our house is going up! Yay!! =)
Beautiful, Jessica. It's been fun watching the progress. Though I must admit, it brings up reminders of our own remodel (Yielding our current school room). It was a very stressful time for me! I admire the grace and patience that you are reflecting during this process. May God continue to bless you and family:)
I went without a kitchen for 2 months and had to wash my dishes in the bathtub! LOL! It always takes longer than planned. Believe it or not, all this waiting will be worth it in the long run. At least it is summer and you can eat outside.
This looks just fantastic!
It looks GREAT Jessica!!!!!
Jessica- wanted to let you know we did find a deacons's gift for my father. We purchased a beautiful alb for him that has a little bit of silver lining around the hem and sleeves. Gorgeous! We can't wait to attend mass and see him wearing it! Your house is looking amazing!! I can't wait to see what delicious creations await your bloggers as your kitchen is completed. Just think it is too HOT to bake now anyway. You can break in the new kitchen just in time for the fall season!
Many blessings!!
LOVE the color! I have it throughout my house too – it goes with anything =)
Great warm colors! Lovely. Can't wait to see your finished product. I am sure you can't either!
It looks beautiful. Don't worry, soon this will all just be a distant memory!
