Our family liturgical celebrations tend to die down in June as this momma is spent, so Thank You for the little kick of inspiration!
We're hoping to make the Sacred Heart t-shirts this year as well. They are so neat!
The feast of St. John the Baptist (june 24) is one of my favorites of the liturgical year. I'm very surprised to see you and your family do nothing to honor such a great man. Our family always had fun splashing each other with water after Mass. fisheaters.com has a great section on the holiday as well.
Yes, St. John the Baptist is a very inspiring saint and great man. This year on his feast we attended Mass and my husband read a short story of St. John the Baptist to the children and I during dinner. June always seems to be extra busy in our home and we usually aren't able to do lots of extra baking and activities for the saints, as you can probably tell from the lack of links in this post! 🙂 Sounds like your family had a fun day! My children would have enjoyed that as well!
