Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! She's adorable. I loved taking pictures of my older girls and the outfits they'd make up on their own when they were around 2 or 3 years old.
My daughter who is now 27 loved wearing snow boots and a swim suit.

This is off topic, but how did you get that textured look on your wall? It looks really nice and adds some visual interest to an otherwise plain, monochromatic space.

Thank you! When we were remodeling these rooms, we wanted something different than the "orange peel" texture that we had in the rest of the house. The Drywall Contractor suggested a "Knockdown" drywall texture. I like it much better! I am sure you could google it to see how it is done… From what I remembered he sprayed on the texture and then "knocked-it-down" with some sort of tool. It was interesting and does add a little bit of character to the plain painted walls.
