Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

I am a follower but I don't think I've ever left a comment. We had the exact same play mat since my oldest was born over 6 years ago. All 4 of my children have since loved it and played on it. We are now moving overseas and decided to give it away since it easier to just buy a new one when we arrive for future babies. It makes my eyes tear up to see that little monkey and giraffe…in a good way. 😉 Your blog is wonderful, I have gotten so many wonderful ideas for celebrating liturgical seasons and homeschooling. Thank you!
Oh, I love all the baby pictures! I especially like the one with Snuggles smiling so big at his little brother! +JMJ+
*chuckles* We too had that play mat. It's been a long while since I posted here, as I took a break from blogging. What a cute, cute little boy.
He is SUCH a pretty, I mean handsome baby!! I have been getting a lot of itty bitty baby time lately (well "lots" as compared as to regular – nothin' for a year and a half!) and I feel all flopsy topsy in love with babies… AGAIN! 😉 NO – I am not telling you anything that is news. There is NO news… just lovin' babies and sorta thinkin' all that baby stuff is cool again!!
Bud is pretty – pretty handsome! The photo of Snuggles cuddled up next to him made my heart melt. –Danielle
PS You'd tagged the post w/Precious Moments: 06 (Rose)…I think you'd meant 05 (Snuggles)?
Look at those sweet, precious faces! Sigh. Love.
just precious! our little guy arrived on the feast of the annunciation and are just taking in every minute of it. i don't know if you remember but i contacted you in dec. 2010 when we had a miscarriage and your words were so comforting! well we know how good god is and now we're enjoying this new little one! please keep him in your prayers as he was born with a murmur in his heart, we're waiting for a test to see if he needs surgery. god bless you and your beautiful family!
Congratulations, Jacqui! I am so very happy for you!! I will be praying for your little guy… Our little Rose was born with a murmur as well. She ended up with three different defects, and needing surgery, but by the time she was a year old her heart was healed. I'll pray that your little guy won't need surgery either!
Oops! I am still trying to adjust to the new blogger templates, and am probably making all sorts of mistakes! Thank you!!
Moving out of the country?! What an adventure!
I had my eyes on a new play mat, but since we still have this one – and my kids love it too – I just couldn't justify the new one. 🙂
Thanks for commenting, and your kind words about my blog. God bless!!
Thanks Jessica!
