This is the second time I’ve signed up for the coffee hour… It’s been so fun to tie in the saints and seasons. I wonder which feast day we should do next?! 🙂
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Wow! What a great spread. Saturday was such a busy day for us that the best I could muster was a loaf of Irish soda bread. I had plans to make a few other things but there simply weren't enough hours in the day. The St. Patrick cookies are cute. Maybe next year I'll be able to give those a try for my girls and my religious ed class.
How festive and fun Jessica! Where did you get the coloring pages for St. Patrick? The one with the squares looks like it was hand drawn? They're beautifully done.

Thank you, Noreen! My kids brought about 15-20 coloring pages to use as decorations. The ones that are pictured in this post are from Fenestrae Fidei and St. John the Baptist Religious Ed.
Didn't they turn out cute?! They were made by my friend Kimber, who borrowed our cookie cutters. They were gluten free and so yummy!
Irish Bread is perfect! I'm still recovering from our weekend. We left the house Saturday morning just after 8:30am and were out (other than a quick stop back home to pick up a gift) until nearly 10pm! The day started with Hockey Skills Competition/Parents vs. Players Game/ and Potluck, then we headed to a birthday party, then it was 5:30 pm Mass (since my husband had to leave for the airport at 4:30am Sunday morning), then a parish St. Patrick's Day Dinner. Thankfully I had prepared for this Sunday Coffee hour on Friday, and the kids were so helpful with getting everything that we were bringing to the church.
