Somebody was mad, and refused to look at his daddy, when we picked him up at the airport…
However, it didn’t take Bud long at all to forgive him for being gone for three weeks!

Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

So happy that your husband is home again! Love all the pictures. Bud is as cute as can be. Also love his shoes! Are those Robeez?
Yes!! I also LOVE those little booties! They are so comfortable for him and slip on easily and yet stay on! They are so great! He only has this one pair (the brown classic bootie) and we use them nearly every day.
I always love seeing your St. Agnes statue! It is so incredibly beautiful! You'll have to let us know how the cookies turn out, if you end up making them. Welcome home to your husband!
Both my kids had those! It was the only shoe I needed to own for them their first winter
So, so happy for you all to be together again! The last week was quite a grand finale. And your St. Agnes statue is so beautiful! I love it.
The ice skating looks like fun! Welcome home to Sean! My husband left this morning for 4-5 more weeks but at least he got to see one of the basketball games this season (last season, he missed every single one and it bothered him a lot).
Oh, I am so sorry, Kathy! How difficult for you! I'll remember you in my prayers!
I LOVE your St. Agnes statue!
Glad your hubby is home … safe and sound!
Where can I buy one of those St. Agnes statues? Lucy is getting confirmed in a few months and has chosen Agnes as her confirmation name. I'd love to surprise her with a statue like yours.
This statue was actually a gift from a friend who purchased it from a local artist. I will see if I can find a contact number for you.
That would wonderful. I've been searching online but nothing is as pretty as yours. Thanks!
That last picture is priceless. In 20 years you will love it even more 🙂
I recently discovered your blog, and also would love to find a statue of St. Agnes for my Agnes who was born this year!
Hi Cecilia – I emailed Jessica the link directly, if I am remembering correctly 🙂 Here is the link for the artist the made our St. Agnes statue: Chris Hart Studio
God bless, and congratulations on your new little one!
