I think it would make a great gift for a 10 year old boy! The box recommends ages 8+ Our 8 year old enjoys playing, but it is challenging for him and he sometimes needs some help with the strategizing. I'm sure he will get better with practice. Our 10 year old loves the game! It is definitely my favorite for game night and one of the favorites for our four oldest (ages 10-15) as well.

We love Ticket to Ride. And when we want to play but don't want to go through all the work of shuffling and setting up, we play on our phones. 😉

The original Ticket to Ride (pictured in this post) is the North America version and includes tickets to Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Montreal.

Is this a good two player game? Our kids are too young for this but I've been looking for games to play with my hisband!

We usually play it with more players, but it can be played with just two and would still be fun! I've read that the Swiss version works the best with two players.
When we were first married my husband and I loved playing Stratego. We have the original version, but the Waterloo and Conquest versions are included in the Deal of the Day. I was tempted to purchase one of them, but haven't yet.
