Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

Jessica as a person born in 1965 I don't remember the "Pre-Vatican 2" Masses. I've never been to one but only seen parts of them online and on TV—VERY beautiful. I've only attended in my 56 years Mass in the Ordinary Form and probably will continue to do so until I die. There are NO Masses in the Extraordinary Form any where near us. I am sorry for those of y'all who attend and love the Mass in the Extraordinary Form as it may be more difficult to find them around. But I am blessed to have participated in reverent and beautiful Masses in the Ordinary Form all my life. We are Catholic: ONE Church, ONE Mass, One Truth. May this situation not cause any more division in our Church. May we all remember why we are at Mass and WHO we are there for. God Bless y'all and wish all of you the very best.
Cardinal Burke – a voice crying out in the wilderness. I was moved to tears by his reasoned, pained, powerful truth, his love and his stand for all that is holy and sacred.
Dear Jesus, please bless this Champion of the faith, please bless and continue to nurture all of us who adore you in your Holy Mass. Help us in this present darkness to pray, to hope, and not to worry. Amen
Oh, Jessica, thank you for posting this. I don't comment often but I immediately thought of you when I read the letter from Pope Francis. We are not able to attend a TLM in our area though when we do have the chance we have always enjoyed attending. We are blessed with a holy NO within walking distance of our house in rural Poland. My first response to the letter from the Pope was sadness mixed with anger and then just frustration and now…hope. Even though we do not attend the TLM regularly, it is the devout Catholics, many who attend the TLM, that have always challenged me and pushed me to deepen my faith. Their voices, and I include you here, are a constant inspiration to me to continue to go deeper, to teach my children (#8 to be born in March 2022!) to never settle or be comfortable in their faith but to always challenge themselves to be closer to the Truth. My genuine hope is that the TLM will become stronger and more focused thanks to this letter, and my even greater hope is that the many many abuses we have witnessed at various NO Masses will come under scrutiny adn holier NO Masses will be implemented. Holier Masses for everyone and genuine love of the Mass and the True Presence. I beleive these kinds of moments in the Church force people to learn and clarify their attitudes towards the sacred. I am hopeful.
Peace be with you!
Olivia
