Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

So cute!
Fabulous! I love seeing your boys' creativity (and reliving so many things my boys were doing ten years ago :-))!
I love this, so creative and it made my day to see it!
Whoa. Now that's creative! Nice work boys.
This is awesome! Your boys should make up lego patterns for download or something…I would have never thought of this combo!
:giggle: They are so creative! I can't wait til my boys are big enough to build their own sets! We just have duplos now 🙂
Now, that is AWESOME.
You guys are so creative. Nice job! They will never for get the election of this Pope for sure now!
My 7 and 9 year old boys and I are very impressed!
Love it! Wish I could use it as a Facebook cover photo. 🙂
Now I can't wait for my boys to be home for school. I want them to see this. It's great!
That's so cool! Very Creative.
Wow! Just wow! That is amazing. I hope my son is that creative when he's older!
Awesome! LOL, my kids were just saying the other day that it would be so neat if Lego came up with a Vatican City set….right now they're all reading over my shoulder & are very impressed. 🙂
For Rascal & Captain:
"Awesome construction! I like the different pieces you used to put it together." ~ "General"
"Neat creation, it looks just like it in real life." ~"Rose" & "Little Monkey"
My 7 year old son James (I'm an Orthodox priest) thinks this is great. He especially says, "Good job on the Cardinals."
So cool! I wonder from where they get their creativity?! 🙂 Hmmm…would you allow them to do a post on getting started with Legos? What would be a solid bin or batch to get started? Good job guys! -Genevieve
Fantastic! Keep up the good work boys. How about keep going and add a lego recreation of St. Peter's square with the colonnade and obelisk? You can do it!!!
Jessica, I've been reading your blog for years, but when I saw this post I had to make it offical and finally became a follower! This is great and I can't wait to show my boys (7 and 5) who I'm sure will be taking notes on what pieces they'll need to create something similar! So creative! Thanks! -Theresa
this is the cutest Pope idea ever!! and I'm amazed that you know which pieces are from which sets :O our Lego pieces are one jumbled up mess! Kudos to your kids for coming up with this!
This is awesome.
What a great job your boys did! My friend, Fr. Roderick Vonhögen from the Netherlands, shared this on his Facebook page, so that's how I came to your page. I love LEGOs, and this just added to the epic love. Well done to your boys! Well done, indeed! 😀
Don't know if you have seen this Pope Francis coloring page yet… http://www.cool-coloring-pages.com/pope-francis-coloring-page/
My husband watches Fr. Roderick's videos online sometimes. I love his voice!!!
awesome! Now I want to get some lego cardinals!
Bravo à ces enfants et à leur maman. Superbe!
