After visiting a couple of the Spanish Missions, our next field trip during our visit to Arizona was to the Titan Missile Museum. We were able to take a guided tour of this amazing facility, which was once one of America’s most secret places. It is the the only underground missile silo in the world that is open to the public!

Since the Titan Missile Museum isn’t a national park, the children weren’t able to earn another “Junior Ranger” badge, but they were given an opportunity to become Junior Missileers. After completing an activity booklet, they were each awarded a Junior Missileer Badge and certificate to add to their growing collection!
Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
This is an awesome field trip. My kids would love it. Especially my boys.
I don't have any boys. I am sure my hubby would love it. Looks like a great field trip.
My six y/o son is asking to look at those pictures again! +JMJ+
fun. what a great boy adventure, although I would have thought it was neat as a little girl too.
How cool! We just visited NASA in Houston. The kids (and parents) LOVED it.
