Ruth just tagged me for another meme that Robynn (my sisters sister-in-law) started! Thanks for tagging me Ruth!

Here I go… Let’s see if I can be decisive for a change:
(My choices are in bold italic type.)

If you HAD to choose one or the other would you choose…

  1. Thai or Mexican
  2. bubble bath or back massage
  3. boots or sandals
  4. the 90% “pro-life” good chance or the 100% pro-life long shot (This is a hard one, but if everyone choose the 100% pro-life candidate, he would no longer be the “long shot!”)
  5. a cruise ship or a mountain cabin
  6. Rome or Paris
  7. Ordinary or Extraordinary
  8. Rosary or Stations
  9. surf or hang glide
  10. Regal Cinemas or Netflix
  11. sweet or salty
  12. pen or pencil
  13. how-to book or fantasy novel
  14. crossword or sudoku
  15. lose a leg or lose your sight
  16. North or South

Isn’t it! We don’t have TV reception, so I had never seen them (there are many different ones) before, and one day we were at my parents and my dad said, “Come here, you have to watch these commercials!” I COULDN’T believe he had ACTUALLY recorded commercials, but it did have us laughing, and now whenever Big Foot is mentioned, I think of them. 🙂

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
