Prayer Request

by | May 13, 2008 | Prayer Request | 16 comments

I wanted to ask you all to please say a prayer for my hubby. This morning he will be going in for a diagnostic procedure. Please pray that everything will be normal, and that he is safe under the general anesthesia. Thank you!!

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

My sacrifices and prayers will be for him today.

I know how afraid you must feel. I will be thinking of you all day. When it comes to our husbands we love them so much and need them. Our kids need them.

Thank you so much to all of you for your prayers!

The procedure went well. They did find something called a “Colitis” (I believe?) and we will be hearing the results of the biopsy in about 2 weeks.

Now, I am off to take Chiquita to the doctor…

    God Bless!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
