I know I posted about this last month, but as my orders arrive I am just amazed at how great a deal this really is, so I thought I would post it one more time for any of you that were too busy to read blogs over Christmas.

Amazon has been offering a whole bunch of ten-packs of the St. Joseph Picture Books and Coloring Books for only $1.50 (for all ten), plus most of them qualify for Amazon’s 4 for 3 promotion where if you buy 4, you are only charged for 3! They also qualify for Amazon’s Super Saver Shipping with a $25.00 purchase.

With the promotion this brings each book down to only .11cents each. At this price they can be used for so many different things including:

  • Birthday gifts for my children and their cousins/friends
  • Baptismal Anniversary gifts for my children and Godchildren
  • Nameday Gifts
  • Perfect for in Easter Baskets
  • Christmas Gifts
  • Favors for Feast Day Celebrations
  • Prizes for Little Flowers and Blue Knights
  • Prizes for All Saints Party
  • Fundraisers!

My favorites are the old original Father Lovasik books that I remember reading as a child. (I prefer the old more traditional illustrations that they have–for example I love this book about the Apostles of Jesus, in this new one the pictures of the apostles remind me of cheezy movie stars — not at all how I picture these much loved Saints.)

Here are some links to the Father Lovasik books I ordered:

I also ordered a few written by Rev. Jude Winkler:

And here are some links to 10 packs of Coloring Books (The Coloring Books are an even better deal at only $1.25 for 10 — after the 4-for-3, they are only .09cents each for THE WHOLE COLORING BOOK!!):

Before I go, I just want to warn you… If you end up ordering a bunch of these books be prepared for strange looks from your mailman when he starts delivering packages every day and questions from your husband on “just how much did you spend on all those books!” 😉

I am little confused. I saw this on one of your Christmas posts. Is it a 10 pack of the same book? Or a 10 pack of different books?

Yes, it is a 10 pack of the same book, but you are getting all 10 for the regular price of just 1. (These books are sold at our local bookstore for $1.50 each, and at our parish for $2.00 each)

So, basically, they are great to use as gifts, or possibly go in with a few friends and split them up, since you won’t need all 10 for your own family.

I saw this awhile back, and ordered a few of the books. I want to order some coloring books for my four year old, so she has something more to do when I teach the older two kiddos. It’s a great deal. I love Amazon. 🙂

hello Jessica, I read your post about the sale. It’s great, I’ve never ordered with Amozon before. I would like to buy books and coloring books, one of each. Is there a list somewhere?

Lucia ~ These books are only available in packs of 10 from Amazon, though they are selling for the price of 1.

Jessica, thanks for the reply. I understand that they come in 10- packs. Thats great with me. I just wanted to know if there was a list somewhere so that I could order one of each. (Both books and coloring) Thank you

I’m sorry, Lucia, I misunderstood. I don’t think there is an actual “list” but I tried to create one in this post. Each of the book titles in my post is an actual link to the spot on Amazon where you can add it to your cart. There may be a few more that I didn’t link to, but you will need to just look around Amazon for them — I noticed others, but they were not selling for the low price.

You can also do a search at Amazon for Father Lovasik, or Catholic Coloring Books and see what comes up in the search results. That’s how I found the ones I listed.

Pay attention to how many you have in your cart since every 4th one is Free and the price will be deducted when you check out. Also be sure to click the Super Saver Shipping Button to get the free shipping in the checkout process.

I hope I’m not making this too complicated… Let me know if it doesn’t make sense. God Bless!

HELP quick… some of the ones you listed in this blog don’t say 10 pack but the weight is 1.4 pounds. How do I know if I am getting a 10pk if it doesn’t say? Are all the ones in this post ones you have received and all 10packs?

I’ve recieved all but the Blessed Kateri (which I too noticed weighed 1.4 pounds instead of 2-3 ounces indicating, I am pretty sure, that it is a 10pk.) and the St. Anthony (though his does say 10 pk Bundle in the description.) All the rest that I listed that don’t say “10 pack” I HAVE received and DID receive 10!!

I *did* order a couple of the Christmas coloring books (which I didn’t list in this post) and with those I only received single books.

    I hope that helps!!

    Hi again,
So you are saying that St Anthony of Padua and St Kateri both came as singles? Currently they don’t have the word 10 pk by them.

Besides the 2 above every one in your post was a 10pk, right?

  19. Jessica Gordon

No, I just haven’t received them yet to verify that they will come as a 10 pk. I am pretty sure about the St. Anthony, though I am not sure about the Blessed Kateri until it arrives. Based on the weight I am thinking it will arrive as a 10 pack.

Oh, and the St. Anthony *does* say 10 pack bundle down in the description area. 🙂

I just clicked over and it looks like your right. I didn't see any coloring books on sale anymore. =( There still are a number of Lovasik 10 packs available for the sale price.

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
