~ A Special Surprise ~

Marci pieced together 48 rose themed squares, from friends and family, both locally and online, into this beautiful quilt for our baby! What a treasure this will be for her!!!!
I was so touched to see all the thought and love that went into this gift, including lovely squares from women I hardly know. Thank you all so much!!

*It may take me awhile, but hopefully I can take close ups of each square to share with you all, so you can see it up close. The photo hardly does it justice!

~ Tea and Honey Stick Favors ~

Thank you so very much Marci, and to all of you that contributed to making this such a special shower for our baby, our little Christmas Rose!
May God reward you all for your kindness and generosity!!

Oh, Jessica! I'm so happy that it came out so beautifully! Marci did a FANTASTIC job. I think I see my little contribution. 😉

I'm kinda cheating by being on the computer here, but I had to comment. You and little Rose are still in my prayers and I have plenty of time to focus on prayer now that I'm stuck in bed, lol.

P.S. you and your girls look radiant!

As always, thank you for sharing and God bless!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
