Cheap Toys

And no (Paula) I am not going to tell you all about another great deal! 😉

Snuggles was doing this for about 10 minutes straight before I grabbed the camera. It distracted him for a second and then he continued doing it for at least another 10 minutes. It was so funny! He had found these containers in a box of school “stuff” that needed to be put away. I’ll have to keep these out!

He is SOOOOOOO cute, I just love his little toes and his hands stretching to hold the bowls. He’s pretty organized…wonder where he gets that from?

Isn’t it funny how we buy all kinds of “toys” and they would rather play with things like this…my kids love the tupperware drawer…and the phone and the TV buttons…

Your little boy is adorable! He has the most beautiful eyes too! You are so blessed to be a Mother!

I wanted to ask you a question regarding roses and St. Therese. My husband and I were married June 16th 2007, on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I was almost forty one when I was married and my husband almost forty three.

We have been trying to conceive a child since our wedding day without any success (I found out last February after surgery that I have endometriosis stage 4). About one month after we were married, I prayed a novena to St. Therese asking for a rose if God was hearing our prayers for the gift of a child and if we would be parents someday.

Well at my twin neices baptism a short time later I found a plastic red rose in a pew at the church. My husband found another plastic red rose at his work place.

What do you think? A message from St. Therese? Or not? It’s now been a year and a half and we still haven’t been able to concieve yet. I feel a bit sad and discouraged.

Could you please pray for us? Thank you so much! You and your family will be in my prayers especially my daily rosary as well.

May God Bless you and your lovely family.

    Love,
    Maria Therese

So VERY CUTE!!! Love that. He had his method, and there was no stopping him. Wouldn’t you like to be in their little minds? Looks to me like you have a great little baby. 🙂

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
