Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
Our Family
A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
You lucky duck! Wow!
Yeah!! So, you're a Mac gal, too =) Enjoy getting everything set up!
YEAH!!!! You are gonna LOVE it!!!!
Congrats! Once you go MAC you'll never go back. 🙂
Yeah, I got one just a few months ago. I love ours. Use ical, it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!
We have parallel lives right now. My computer just broke this week too, although the Geek Squad was able to transfer everything to an external hard drive. So I was lucky. I just got a new HP laptop. I love it. My old Dell laptop (never again) had so many issues, so I think it's a blessing in disguise bcause it forced us to get a new one. Have fun.
i guess i need to figure out the wonders of ical. totally dont use that. fun to ichat with ya though 😉

Yes, I am definitely a Mac girl =) My very first computer — 15 years ago — was a Mac, as well as the one following it. I then added a PC when I was doing Bookkeeping for others and had both for about 10 years. The last 5 years I have only had a PC and I HAVE MISSED my Mac.
There are SO MANY new features since I had my last Mac and I am having so much fun checking them out. I am also looking forward to setting up iCal. I've been really needing a Calendar program and with school starting next month it will be perfect.
I am still trying to transfer everything from my PC — it is SO SO slow. It takes about 1 hour to transfer a months worth of photos onto the cruzer, and only a few minutes to download onto the Mac. I am up to 2008, so making progress!
Loved iChating with you too Regina!! So nice to actually SEE your beautiful face too. =)
Ok — back to work, today's project is painting the boys old room so we can move the girls into it next!! It is going from a Tan to a Pastel Sage and looks so PRETTY!
If you need me to resend the states – let me know!
How wonderful, Jessica! Mac is the only way to go, in my humble opinion! You are going to have so much fun with it!
YEA for you!!! I love my macs… can't imagine our school life before them!!! Or at least I just don't want to recall all that mess!! 🙂 It will be fun to iChat!! Our life is almost back to "normal"… in just a short week we'll be home for a long while – yipppeeeeee!!!
Oooh, exciting! That's the computer we have and I love it. Acts as our DVD/TV too.
I'm a fairly new reader who is sharing your site with lots of friends, esp some Little Flowers moms.
Beautiful family, beautiful ideas about our beautiful Faith! Thanks!
Ooh!! I'm grinnin' from ear to ear!!! 🙂 A shiny new mac! Delightful!
How fun, Jessica! I'm in love with iCal!!! SOOOOO wonderful for making lesson plans and themes!
What a wonderful hubby! Oh but then, don't they always know just what to do to bless us anyway? 🙂
Congratulations… way to go 🙂
gotta tell me how it is to navigate and all…. dh wants that to be MY next computer. I don't want to have to "learn" a new system, but at the same time i don't want to continue to be so frustrated with a PC.
