Baby Rattle Cupcakes
I had so much fun making these Baby Rattle Cupcakes for the Virtual Baby Shower I am hosting here at Shower of Roses!
I was originally inspired by the Baby Rattle Cupcakes at Betty Crocker, making modifications so that I could incorporate Cupcake’s nursery colors of Black, White and Bright Aqua Blue!
Supplies:
White Cupcakes
Buttercream Frosting
Butter cream Frosting tinted Aqua Blue
White Candy Roses
Black M&M’s
Mint Lifesavers
Lollipop Sticks
White Candy Melts
Black and White Ribbon
Instead of using lollipops for the rattle sticks, I created my own so that I could keep them all white. I dipped one end of a lollipop stick and one side of a mint lifesaver into some melted white candy. Once the candy had hardened I added a black and white ribbon bow and slid the stick into the side of the cupcakes, creating the Baby Rattles.
Didn’t they turn out cute?!?!
My kids are all so excited to be able to “attend” this Baby Shower, and they can hardly wait to enjoy these cupcakes this afternoon!

Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
Those are very sweet! I love how you "glued" on the lifesaver. You and those candy melts! lol!
Fantastic, Jessica! You did an amazing job!
My daughter and I are searching out cupcake designs now. 🙂
