Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me
Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.

Your children are so beautiful! They have the prettiest eyes!
Thank you Kari! They get them from their Daddy! Back before we started dating I kept telling my friends, "You should date him! He has the most gorgeous eyes!" lol
Great photos, we used to go out and cut down our own tree and have mostly fond memories of that. I believe our last year to do it was 2004 and we laugh now, but oh was it stressful that Christmas. After melt downs with kids, a new baby, a tree that was less than cooperative with sitting straight in the stand…well, my husband took a single strand of lights and cross crossed it across the front declaring 'he was done'! We collectively decided to go with a pre-lit fake tree for the time being, LOL. I miss the 'search' and fun of finding a real tree, but will enjoy what keeps us a little stress free at the present *smile*
I really enjoyed your happy kids faces in all these photos, they clearly enjoy this outing. I agree with Kari, they DO have beautiful eyes!
There aren't many things cuter than little girls with babies on their hips. It makes me smile every time my girls heave our baby onto their hip and carry her around.
Fun to see how much they've grown in a year!! YOu got such nice pictures and everyone was coordinated in what they were wearing perfectly! You look right out of a magazine! Beautiful family.
(looks like it was colder this year)
Thank you, Jamie! I did plan the kids to coordinate for Mass since I was hoping we'd be able to get some one to take a family picture for us to use for our Christmas Cards. (The bottom picture was the picture we used.) Of course, I see all the imperfections! 😉 The boys brought a change of clothes, but Rascal forgot his polo shirt and just wore his Mass shirt with his jeans, and TT purse is bright pink but it came out of the car with her. lol The owner of the tree lot snapped a couple pictures for us and this was the best option, so we went with it!
Oh, and it was FREEZING this year! Much colder than last, and we even went a little earlier. This year we went on Dec 7th, following Friday morning Mass, and last year we went on Rose's birthday, December 16th. In fact, the weekend before we went this particular tree farm was flooded and closed, due to all the flooding we had just had. It's been an interesting year with weather for us!
