Tidepooling

Monday morning we woke up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach and the lowest tide of the year! 
It was a negative tide (-2.21 at 7:10 AM) and absolutely incredible!

    Fascinating! I've never seen so many starfish, or such bright-green sea-anemones.
    I hope you are getting well and that your little guy is healing up well after his stitches.

    WOW Jessica, what fantastic photos, I've never seen anything like those starfish, anemones and the other sea creatures in real life…the colours and shapes are beautiful.

    Jessica, that was an amazing experience, just from my computer screen. How awesome to be there in person! We studied ocean creatures last year, took a beach vacation (the kids were so excited) and… saw a dead crab, a dead jellyfish, and a bunch of teeny bivalves that burrowed in the sand over and over at low tide. Still fun. 🙂

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven.
