It is still showing up as 1¢ here, Erin. Could it be because you are in Australia?

This was on my wish list, thank you!! Now I don't have to pay $10 for the book 🙂 Although I may still consider since it's nice to have the hard copies!

Didn't occur to me, but that must be the answer. Wonder why they charge more when there is no freight. Oh well enjoy:)

You're ahead in the time zones…I bet the offer ends sooner in Australia and New Zealand? I know I purchased something from New Zealand On October 31st here…but it was already November 1st there , so I missed out.

Thank you Jessica for kindly sharing this with all of us! I was just wondering how you came across this deal and if there is a way to find any other Christmas books with such a good deal? Having the second option of Kindle is great when we live so far away!

Jessica, I was wondering about the movie Nicholas the boy who became Santa. Does it focus a lot on the secular Santa Claus or on the real St. Nicholas. I'd like to get it, but I don't want the movie to influence my children to want to believe in the secular Santa.

I'm between the Nicholas movie or the Juan Diego one. Which do you think would be better?

We love Nicholas: The Boy Who Became Santa! It was one of the original CCC videos and my grandmother gave it (the VHS version) to my siblings and I when we were growing up. It's definitely all about the real St. Nicholas. I would choose the Nicholas DVD over Juan Diego.

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
