In paradisum deducant te angeli,
May the angels lead you into paradise,

in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres,
may the martyrs receive you in your coming,
et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Jerusalem.
and may they guide you into the holy city, Jerusalem.

Chorus angelorum te suscipiat,
May the chorus of angels receive you
et cum Lazaro quondam paupere
and with Lazarus once poor
aeternam habeas requiem.
may you have eternal rest

Please pray for the repose of the soul of James Patrick Gordon, Jr. I’m going to miss this amazing Irishman, inspirational father of five (a daughter, three priests, and my husband), and loving grandfather. He passed away much sooner than expected yesterday morning, June 6, 2017.

Update: There will be a wake at the funeral home 6 – 10 pm Sunday, June 11th and funeral mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nogales, at 10 am Monday, June 12th. Please say a prayer for the safety of all those who are traveling to attend, including my husband and our five oldest children.

Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

I remembered your dear father-in-law in Mass last night. May your precious memories of him bless you and your husband and your children with God's strength and much comfort during your loss. May the memory of his beautiful Irish smile bring your family great joy…He is only a sweet prayer away from you now and he has been blessed by our Dear Lord that all of his pain is gone as he now lives in the beautiful Light of God. I am keeping your husband and children in my prayers for safe travel home to you Jessica after they say good-bye to their father and grandfather.

+JMJ Dad, it's me Jimmy! I love you! No words can express my love for you! If I could be a father to my faithful as you were to us as a family I would eternally thank God. For then I would rival St. John Vianney. You are my hero and you will always be. I never knew a more selfless person. Thank you for being my Father. Sorry for all the pain I ever caused you. I will always remember you at the altar. The Son offered His Sacrifice to His Father with the most perfect love. I'm beginning to know that love intimately thanks to you!

Prayer of Mothers

Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.

A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a Roman Catholic wife and home educating mother to our nine children. I was home educated myself, along with my eleven younger siblings. I have a special devotion to St. Therese, through whom I have been given much help and many blessings--the beautiful "Shower of Roses" that she has sent my way! Here I will record a few of the blessings I treasure. Please remember that what you see here is just a little glimpse at our lives, so please say a prayer for us, as we continue to strive for holiness.
