The Saints of Christmas Activity Book
includes fun activities and coloring pages for all six saint books included in the Saints and Me! Christmas Series: Mary and Joseph, Nicholas of Myra, Francis of Assisi, Gianna Beretta Molla, Martin de Porres, and Lucy. With 96 reproducible pages, this coloring and activity book will makes a great resource to use over and over again! The variety of activities enables children to relive the story and learn through activities that correlate to the story (such as word searches containing the words in the story, coloring sheets of pictures from the story, reflective material on the saint as a role model). This is an excellent way to introduce these Saints of Christmas to children, helping them to understand their virtues and desire to live holy lives. Activities are varied enough to be used with preschool (4-year-olds) through second or third grade. An answer key is provided.
I haven’t seen a copy of this activity book in person yet, but just ordered a copy for this Advent since it is currently 69% off! I love that it includes 96 reproducible pages so that I can order one copy for my children to share.
I’m slowly working on finding books to give our children as gifts on the feast of St. Nicholas and for Christmas this year. I’m also working on creating an updated version of Our 2014 Advent Book Basket and Printable Labels and will be sure to share those with you all when they are ready, hopefully in the next week or two!
Holy Heroes is currently offering “3 for the price of 2” on pre-orders of their 2015 Advent Adventure Activity Book. I haven’t ordered them for this year, but our children really enjoyed using the Activity Books last Advent. (You can find a list of our Advent & Christmas Favorites from Holy Heroes here.)
I also wanted to mention that Regina Martryum Productions just released another new audio download! For today only if you purchase a copy of The Poor Outcast – Blessed Margaret of Castello you can choose another story to download for free with coupon code MARGARET15.
Oh! One more thing. My friend Aleesa just shared a FREE Sts. Louis & Zelie Martin Coloring Page. Could you please offer a little prayer for Aleesa? She is currently on bed rest recuperating from surgery. I need to go back and add the coloring page link to my post on Commemorating the Canonization of the Parents of Saint Thérèse, Saints Louis and Zélie Martin and print out a few copies for my little ones to color sometime this week.
I think that is it for now… I hope your week is off to a great start!
Jessica, do you own the Saints and Me book series? Have you posted about these before? I'd love a little more info before making a purchase. Thanks.

I'm not sure if I've posted about them before, but a few are listed in my Book Basket posts for each month. We own copies of Mary and Joseph, Nicholas of Myra, Lucy, Juan Diego, and Therese. They are short books, only about 25-30 pages long or so, with colorful illustrations on every page. The text is short and factual. Here are a couple examples from Lucy: A Light for Jesus: "Saint Lucy's name means "light." People in Sweden celebrate a festival of light on her feast day, December 13. They light candles and sing special songs." next page… "Early in the morning, a girl in the family dresses in white with a red sash. She wears a crown of evergreen branches and candles on her head. Then she serves her family sweet rolls and hot drinks. This reminds everyone that Saint Lucy fed the hungry." Amazon states that they are written for ages 4-9… I'd lean more towards 3-6 for my children. My 8 year old is ready for much more than these little books provide. I wish they would let you "look inside"… That always helps me decide whether I want to spend the money on a book. After we finish school today I'll try and take a couple photos of the books to add to this post to give you a better idea what they look like inside, if you'd like. If they were priced more along the lines of the Fr. Lovasik books I might collect the whole series, but at $4.99 each I don't think I'll be adding them all to our bookshelves. We don't own all the books featured in the activity guide, we don't own the Sts. Francis, Gianna, or Martin books, but I'm guessing they aren't necessary to do the activities in the Saints of Christmas Activity Book I ordered. I guess I'll see when it arrives! 🙂

Hi Jessica, the activity book is now listed at $9.99. I am wondering if the price went up since yesterday? It is out of stock now so I am thinking the deal was better yesterday 🙂

Yes, it has gone back up to full price. It was listed at $3.13 (and eligible for free Prime Shipping) yesterday when I placed my order. I'm sorry you missed it! Amazon changes their prices so frequently!

My kids have most of the books in the series and we have all of the activity books. I love them. They are an investment but great quality and I think my kids feel like they are more fun since they follow a story line and are great for beginner readers. The activities are great for lots of ages and we just make colors and do them over and over.
