Ingredients:
1 bag of pretzels (We used the round “Butter Checkers” by Rold Gold – so the Candy Cane Dots would look like cute little Christmas Ball Ornaments! )
1 bag of Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses
1 bag of Christmas colored M&M’s
Directions:
Pre-heat the oven to 200˚ degrees. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. (I forgot to do this step, but it wasn’t a problem.) Arrange the pretzels in a single layer and add a Hershey’s kiss on top of each pretzel. Place them in the warm oven. Let them bake for about 8 minutes. The white chocolate Kisses will melt quickly, so keep an eye on them. (If you opt for chocolate kisses, they won’t melt completely, just get shiny.) Remove from oven and press an M&M in the top of each soft Kiss. Let them cool and enjoy!
Yum!! I was wanting to ask how you made those peanut butter cup cookies! Geesh, I just need to call you, lol.
We have made a bunch of batches of these – they are so good!!! I have found that the candy cane Kisses stick really well – the regular milk chocolate ones don't get as melty and then they fall off after they've hardened! Candy cane, dark chocolate, and mint truffle all work great, but I think candy cane are the prettiest ones! Have you made the ones with Rolos and pecans? Those are delicious!
Oh I want to do these! Maybe for a New Years Treat. If I can wait, I love sweet and salty combos.
Amy ~ I will try and post that recipe tonight! I just picked up more Reese's PB cups so we could make more for Christmas!
Erin ~ No! We haven't tried the Rolos and Pecans version! That sounds so yummy!
We were doing the same here – but yours are so lovely and Christmasy.
I love this recipe– unfortunatley, we ate them all before Christmas!! I've also had the rolos and pecan version– very yummy!!
The TreeKids informed me of the need to make these since they are so easy! So, we just finished off 132 of those little beauties! So festive in the white and red kisses. Bud doesn't care for white chocolate, so we also made some with regular milk chocolate kisses – yummy to be sure, but somehow they aren't quite as festive, and they sort of look like reindeer.. uhmmm… well, reindeer "lumps" on a stick that someone dropped rudolph's nose on top of. Festive in a very weird way?!?!! I like the white and red MUCH better!! 🙂
