I also loved these Penguins made from Eggs,
although I never did get around to making them during “P” week.
The picture in Museum ABC and on the matching Museum ABC Nesting Blocks is of a Peacock. Instead of copying the picture this week, the children learned how to draw a Peacock using this tutorial: How-to-draw a Peacock.

Wow! You are amazing! Someday your children will look back and realize that their mother always lovingly went far above and beyond for their education. I hope you are getting the proper amount of rest… take care of yourself. Peace
You did so much!!! It looks like it was awesome!
Lots of fun food that week!! How do you make the "paint" for the cookies? Food coloring and…?
Fantastic as always Jessica! I especially love how the cookies came out and how you made the cat and bird from the Pope B XVI books. So cute. The children look like they had so much fun.
Thank you for sharing this post with us. I know they take a lot to put together.
God bless!
Thanks everyone!
Amy ~ That's why I was exhausted last weekend and needed a week off to recuperate! 😉 It was fun though!
Erin ~ I figure the nice thing about crafting with food is that it all gets eaten and then I don't have to find somewhere to put it! 😉 We just used powdered sugar with a little milk (soy, since I was out of cow milk) and food coloring.
Kelly ~ The kids were very excited to make Max and Chico and I was excited that I actually had the cookie cutters to do so! :o)
Wow! What a "P" week! I love the St. Patrick cookies! 🙂
Love all the fun stuff for Pp week! Thanks so much for your alphabet posts. My princess got the Klutz fairy kit for Christmas and we'll save it for Pp week.

Oh, and seeing your little St. Patrick in this post made me wonder… did you ever decide to coat the wooden saints with a clear coat of anything? I sprayed one of mine with a Krylon low-odor, clear finish spray, and it is latex paint – the salesperson at the craft store said it was "pretty much non-toxic," although I am a bit concerned about giving it to the kids now because it, well, smells toxic! I like the way it looks though, except the matte finish might look better than the glossy… it's a bit too shiny.
WOW! Awesome, Jessica! I am humbled.
Great blog! I truly love how it’s easy on my eyes and the details are well written. I am wondering how I could be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your rss feed which ought to do the trick! Have a nice day!
