Prayer of Mothers
Father in heaven, grant me the grace to appreciate the dignity which you have conferred on me. Let me realize that not even the Angels have been blessed with such a privilege—to share in your creative miracle and bring new Saints to heaven. Make me a good mother to all my children after the example of Mary, the Mother of your Son. Through the intercession of Jesus and Mary I ask your continued blessings on my family. Let us all be dedicated to your service on earth and attain the eternal happiness of your kingdom in heaven. Amen.
That was a great little quiz. I really wish this stuff was taught at church.
Thought I should say “Hi”. I’ve just join the Catholic Moms Online, and I was checking out some of the blogs, and was enjoying yours. I was looking to see what other people are doing with their kids for Lent. We need to try something new I think. That Jesus Tree looks really neat. I might have to try that. We’ll be just a little behind, but that just seems to be the story of our life anyway.
I had to laugh at your post about Are those all your muffins? We have 6 kids, 12 down to 1. And we really get stares and comments, because I’m also in a wheelchair. People think we’re crazy, and maybe we are, but we’re sure having fun.
I was homeschooling up until a couple years ago, when some very generous friends offered to send our kids to the Catholic school. (30 miles away!) (It’s not as Catholic as I’d like it to be so I still teach my kids religion) I am homeschooling our oldest though because the school only goes up to 5th grade.
Anyway, I’m really glad I found the Catholic Moms Online group. It’s rare in this area to find REAL Catholic. I am in the New Ulm Diocese. (Bishop Lucker is our claim to fame)
