This week we jumped ahead to the “Fall is Here!” theme in the Little Saints Preschool Program. I pulled out all of our fall themed picture books (and favorite fall puppets!) and then headed to the library with my little ones to pick up more. We had a break from the summer heat, with a couple rainy days to welcome fall, but the sun is back and the forecast says it’s going to hit 95˚ by Monday…

I had hoped to make Leaf Rubbings and My Blessings Handprint Trees, but ran out of time… Fitting all these fun activities on top of the rest of our school schedule and the 15-20 hours I’ve been spending at the office each week has been a challenge, but so worth it… I’m really enjoying sharing these great picture books and fun activities with my littlest ones! Next week, with Michaelmas and the feast of the Holy Guardian Angels coming up, we’ll be focusing on “Colors/Guardian Angels”…
Great job! So good to see you do Little Saints again! I'm sure it hasn't been easy.

Just lovely, I'm so inspired! May I ask where you got the wooden tote for art supplies? I've been looking EVERYWHERE for one!

Thank you! It's been years since I purchased it and I can't seem to find it available anywhere at this time… Here is the link to the product page on Amazon for more details. Hopefully it will be available again. It's a great little tote!

This is wonderful! I have been a follower of your blog for quite some time (your blog and instagram) now and tend to somewhat mirror what you are incorporating in your school day with my own tweaks that work better for our family. My girls are older and I didn't start homeschooling them until they were 2nd and 4th grade so preschool/kinder frighten me a bit. I'm taking notes so when my almost 3 year old gets added to the homeschool mix I can offer some fun things for him. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what goes on in your homeschool!

I would love to pin some of these posts (specifically for preschool ideas). Is there a way I can pin this? Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas!

Isn't this just the most beautiful time of the year! This is a very Precious post Jessica with such creative unique ideas for Autumn~my most favorite season of the year with the glorious fall colors, family birthdays in October, our wedding anniversary in November and of course the most special time of year… the Advent Season…The colors in your photos are so rich with the autumn hues and all of the crafts and snacks are just perfect for little ones. Your acorns are adorable! Wonderful book selections too! And…your little son is so cute jumping in rain puddles…reminds me of the preschool tv show "Peppa Pig" from England who loves muddy puddles!!! I look forward to using some of your autumn blessings with my little preschool grandsons. Thank you so much for sharing these sweet ideas! Happy Autumn to you and your family!
