i'm following your blog for a while. i never thanked you for your great and helpful posts. i'm a catehist and i used your ideas many times. kids loved it! you doing a great job here!
your life, specially work with your children inspires me.
well, thank you for your devotion, diligence, creativity and humbleness!
I'm with Mel…every time you go a day or two w/out posting I start to get excited knowing (well reading about;)) how early you have gone in the past! When I first started reading your blog I had 3 children and my husband was a recent convert…you are one of the reasons by the way…and then after much prayer and reflection said husband decided to undergo a procedure to REVERSE an earlier wrong and we have since been blessed abundantly with three more children. We now have six ranging from 21 down to almost 2. Three boys and three girls just like you. We are currently in the process of praying for our tiebreaker! I have commented before and you have always been so kind in answering my questions etc. and so I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU! And know that our family in PA is praying for you and yours.
God Bless,
Jennifer
Hi Jennifer,
Did you have a seperate page for Immaculate Conception Ideas? I didn't see anything for Dec 8 on this page. Thanks much for all the great ideas.
Thank you all for the comments! I will try and be good about posting a little something when I am in labor, or shortly after, so as not to keep you all in suspense! In the meantime, my lack of posting usually just means that I am plain exhausted! I'm having a hard time keeping up with everything lately, and getting sick on top of it didn't help! 🙂
Jennifer ~ Thank you for sharing that with me! How wonderful that God has sent you and your husband so many more blessings!! God bless you and your family!
Texasgal ~ It actually doesn't look like I've posted much for the Immaculate Conception, since I started this blog, at least not during the month of December. In 2007 I posted a video which no longer seems to be working, in 2008 I had just miscarried and shared a Daybook post, in 2009 I was less than a week away from delivering Rose, and in 2010 we received the wonderful news that our little Rose no longer needed heart surgery!
As for ideas… We always make our Christmas Christ Candle the day before, on the feast of St. Ambrose, to place in the middle of our Advent Wreath on the feast of the Immaculate Conception and attend Mass.
You can find lots of suggestions in my post for Ideas for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes! I hope that helps!
